We noticed you're using Internet Explorer.   Have you tried Firefox or Chrome?

User policies, Active Directory Forests, trees, domains, ESEutil… Oh my!

We’re looking for a Windows Server admin. Someone easy to work with on a regular contract basis. We won’t go through the requirements because it’s assumed that if we hear from you – you know what you’re doing and can prove it. If you don’t know your stuff, don’t bother.

The things you’ll need:

  • Reasonable availability, typically during the evening
  • Excellent work ethic and follow-through
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Best Practices

We’re really looking for someone that doesn’t need to research/learn on every challenge. Somoene that has been there & done that. The workload is fairly light and usually can be done at night (remotely).

We’d prefer someone local, but it’s not absolutely required since it’s mostly remote work.

Expect a phone interview, possible video chat and a background check.

Head over to the contact page to get started. Feel free to leave any questions as comments below, or even via Twitter.

What version of Exchange/Windows Server? How many users?

The specific need at the moment is actually clean-up duty for a 20-user 2003 SBS/Exchange server. Mixed Mac/PC environment head by a decent Dell PowerEdge server. It’s experiencing some network oddities. Random port time-outs, or Exchange unavailability. Several unfriendly application error events and warnings, etc. It’s also in need of a hardened back-up & recovery plan.

Orange Apple inherited the server from an admin that is no longer with our client and we’re now their IT department. I’m guessing it would be a several hour project over a few days (all night/weekend work). Connecting via VPN + Remote Desktop. We’re looking to develop a regular contract relationship with one or more sys admins for this type of work.

Have an idea for a project?

We'd love to hear about it! Fill out our Project Form to get started.
